Please Don't let me be Misunderstood

I've learned to play this on the ukulele, but I'm not sure if it should be played on such a joyous little instrument.  My favorite version is Nina Simone's, where you really believe every word, it's heartbreaking. I would put them in the same post if I could figure out how to.
