I miss them. I miss my mom, she is my goodness I think.
I miss my dad, and I think he is dying. I think that I'm not supposed to think that. I'm supposed to understand that he's getting better. But I need a number, I need a stage that this is at. Stage 1, that would be great. Well, not great. But better than stage 4.

Riverdance

I have had this song stuck in my head all day, maybe for several days. I used to watch riverdance as a child again and again. My poor parents. I want to watch it again maybe, it was so fascinating to me, like watching a magic trick. Like being held.

Dat Motion

Even though I'm literally across the street from the ocean right now, I really like looking at the cinemagraph. It's so relaxing, and I think I'll just post it here so I can come back to it if I'm ever landlocked and freaking out. I've haven't live more than 5 miles from a shore of some kind since I was 6 or 7, and I think I just gravitate towards large bodies of water.

DIY Playgrounds by Cas Holman

How cool is this?! Cas Holman, a professor of Industrial Design at RISD is the inventor and designer of Do It Yourself Playground Kits. I found her through the STEAM initiative, which is a RISD backed national program to incorporate Art and Design into STEM programs (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). To quote the website, "artists and scientists both ask big questions; designers and engineers both provide inspired solutions. Together they are more powerful than apart."

I have loved Tony Goldwyn since I saw him on that

Without a Trace episode where he plays twins. It was 

a two parter, titled Doppelganger 1 and 2, which is

where I learned the word Doppelganger. So now

whenever I say it I think of Tony Goldwyn being a pyscho.

And I think we've all loved Kerry Washington since

Save the Last Dance. I certainly didn't watch it to witness the

crazy awkwardness that was Julia Stiles doing hip hop.

This is purely an assumption at this point, but I 

would put money on this woman being part black. 

I'm slowly turning into my dad. "Everyone is black. 

She's black, he's black, she's gonna say she's Greek, 

but you know that just means black."
